Getting Started

1 Signing Up to RoomCentral

Go to RoomCentral.in Click on the SIGNUP button and fill up the form by entering the following details:

USERNAME (can be alphanumeric between 6 and 50 characters, Special characters are not allowed)
EMAIL ADDRESS (any valid email address)
VENDOR ID (can be only be alphabets between 6 and 30 characters, Numbers and Special characters are not allowed)
FIRST NAME (Your First Name)
LAST NAME (Your Last Name)

Once you have filled the above details, click on the SIGNUP button.
You should get a confirmation message displayed on the screen.

NOTE: In case there are errors in the data that was entered, you will need to submit the form once again by clicking the SIGNUP button.

2 Authenticating and validating your Sign Up to RoomCentral

Please check your email (entered in the SIGNUP FORM) for a mail from RoomCentral with an ACTIVATION BUTTON or ACTIVATION LINK.

Click on the ACTIVATION BUTTON / LINK that you have received in your inbox.
This should open your web browser with a message confirming the ACTIVATION of your RoomCentral ACCOUNT.

Once ACTIVATED, you will receive another email to the same email address with the following details:

VENDOR ID (you entered while signing up to RoomCentral)
VENDOR URL (this would be system generated based on the Vendor ID you would have added)
USERNAME (you entered while signing up to RoomCentral)
PASSWORD (random alpha numeric generated automatically by the system)

NOTE: At times, we have learnt that our emails land in the SPAM folder so should you not find ACTIVATION email from RoomCentral in your INBOX, please check your SPAM folder.

3 Signing in to RoomCentral and adding your property

Click on the VENDOR URL and enter the following details

Username (you entered while signing up to RoomCentral)
Password (you should have received in your email after activating your RoomCentral account)

You could also click on the GLOBAL SIGN IN PAGE; in this case you will need to enter the following details:

VENDOR ID (you entered while signing up to RoomCentral)
USERNAME (you entered while signing up to RoomCentral)
PASSWORD (you should have received in your email after activating your RoomCentral account)

Once you have signed in, you will land on the VENDOR PAGE. On the top, below the header, you will find a link ADD PROPERTY. Click on the link and fill up the form that opens up. Once submitted, your new property is added to RoomCentral.

4 Setting up your property for the first time (Instant Setup)

Go back to the vendor page and you will find the PROPERTY you just created, on the same line you will find two links MANAGE & CONFIGURE.

Manage will take you to the interface that allows you to manage your reservations, guest details and in-house guests and more.
Configure lets you manage your room inventory, settings, configuration and more.

NOTE: For the first time when you click on either MANAGE or CONFIGURE you will be Automatically redirected to the INSTANT SETUP page where you will need to complete a one-time setup.
All configurations made or data entered during INSTANT SETUP can be changed at any time from the CONFIGURE section.

5 Advanced Configuration

RoomCentral is designed to suit your requirements. You can make changes to the configuration yourself at any time and all changes get reflected instantly.
RoomCentral Configure lets you make changes with Room Type, Rooms, Inventory, Pricing, Tax Configuration, add and manage users, general settings, add ons, booking engine settings, micro website & content for micro website.
